Hakuba47 WINTER SPORTS PARK

I was waiting for someone to make funny jumps at the beginner snow park.
Then...Yes there were many funny jumps!!

Her ski has come off when she landed!!

Hahaha... Can't see the person at all...! It is too much spray of snow!

Ouch!!!

My mind was changed by them because they tried to jump so many times. (When I arrived at beginner snow park, I just wanted see funny jumps)
They fell down often, but then came and jumped again and again...so they were serious about brushing up their skills!

Today was another cold day.
We're already in the second half of February, but the cold winter days still continue.

I haven't seen the sun for a while... But this is actually a good thing considering the course conditions. The really fine spray is a prove for that.
Looks like it's a lot of fun!　

If it's cold you want to warm up next to a fireplace.

Because it is baked in this heat, it's really good!

The staff working in front of the this stove won't feel cold at all... :)

My personal favorites are "Mix", "Garlic Teriyaki" and "Basil"!
　

A group of students coming from Kyoto had a great time while riding a snowmobile or doing snow rafting. They were cheering very loudly!

This is another way of enjoying your time in Hakuba47 without skiing or snowboarding.

Yoga Lin, a singer from Taiwan, has been appointed as sightseeing ambassador for Nagano Prefecture. He came to together with PR character Arukuma to Hakuba 47 today. (The 2nd from the left in the front row)
He enjoyed different activities in the snow and is doing his best to increase the number of tourists from Taiwan and China.

This weekend is Arukuma Weekend!
We are already preparing more Arukuma cake~
On Saturday (23rd) from 3pm and Sunday (24th) from 11am he will hand out the cake at the restaurant "Carol".

As it's already the second half of February the number of students has increased, as a result you also see a lot more snowboarders on the slopes these days.

Maybe this is a bit expected as the slopes in Hakuba 47 are aimed at snowboarders.
There are a lot of beginners at the top of Quad-lift Line-C.
Going down there are a few slopes down to the base area which are good for beginners (like R-8 or R-7).
Getting used, you can try a few jumps, too~
There are different ways to enjoy your time, so please have good stay at Hakuba 47!

Now, this is the terrain park which is going through a remake at the moment.
It will be reopened tomorrow.
One of the new items is this big can!
Let's see how the new park will turn out~
I guess there will be a few novelties again and I'm really looking forward to it!
