Hakuba47 WINTER SPORTS PARK

It's raining when I looked out of the window.
I looked forward a snowy day but unfortunately it was a rainy day.
But about 11:00am, rain changed into sleet, snow at the middle & upper of mountain.
Just wish some snows could be accumulated....

Visibility was poor at the upper part of mountain because of dense fog,
but about 1cm of snow was accumulated at the early morning.

It was so great to slide on this fresh soft snow!
Moreover, since there were not much visitors came today because of this bad weather, you could enjoy your own private ski course!!

Felt cold while sliding under the rain?
Am I the one who would like to taste a 'Ra-men' (Noodles) at this time?

Wanna try a 'Buta toro ra-men' (Noodles with grilled pork) at Dee & Dam?
Homemade grilled pork is very juicy & delicious~~~

It had a clear blue sky at the upper part of mountain until about 14:00!!
On such a nice day, 'W~I~N~E' must be the best choice!!

These visitors are from Finland.
Cheers!!

The cold temperature (-9C) at the summit this morning hardened the snow surface,
but it turned to loose snow at noon time.
It was great to slide on this kind of spring snow condition!

'47 Kids' class' is held on every Sat & Sun!
These kids will be picked up by a bus at Nagano / Matsumoto in the morning, take whole day lessons and return by a bus at evening.
They greatly enjoyed since they could make friends and practise ski!

Only a few quota is available, if your kids would like to join, please apply by 28th Feb (tomorrow)!
Don't miss this chance!!

Snow park was in good condition!
Overhead jump and landing etc could be easily done at morning time~~
But many people were therefore hurt. . .so please pay high attention while sliding!

Because of renovation, the Half Pipe (inside the Snow Park) will be closed from 28th Feb to 2nd March.
But all our staffs will try every best to finish as soon as possible!

UPDATE:2011.02.27

Video was took for tourism promotion today.
Riders, camera crews etc gathered at the ski resort but a heavy fog affected their video taking.
The shooting of snow park was therefore postponed and they went up to the upper part of mountain for shooting the wind of backcountry.

A clear blue sky ~~
You could also see a sea of clouds !
How marvelous this view was !!

The fog has lifted and you could see the sun again!
Low temperature kept the snow in good condition at the summit but it was rough at the base area.
So please avoid the speed increases due to snow changes!
