La Neige Higashi-kan

An elegant European atmosphere spreads through the hotel, harmonising with the trees in the forest. One of the hotels that represents Hakuba, as a living space with excellent hospitality and luxury that gets support from many guests, is La Neige Higashi-kan. During the Nagano Olympics - this hotel hosted many foreign officials, gold sponsors and other VIP guests ‒ it is today even more so a favorite place for foreign guests to stay. Even after the Olympics, they continue to raise the bar even further to provide a perfect stay, with the renovation of several Deluxe Type rooms and improved facilities such as jacuzzis.
On the grounds are trees planted more than 100 years ago.
Two thirds of the rooms have jacuzzis. Guests can enjoy an outdoor bath at the height of the green season.
The lobby has a warm fireplace, and concerts are sometimes held in the salon.

Men's and women's baths are separated by a giant boulder, and you can feel nature on your skin under the new green of spring and the red colors of autumn. Enjoy a bath looking at the Hakuba Range. This bathhouse is a must.


Dai-ni Sato-no-yu

This is a rare hexagonal bathhouse with hexagonal baths. The scent of the wood baths is fantastic, and the water will leave your skin smooth to the touch. 5 minutes on foot from the Happo bus stop.


Iwatake-no-yu

Colored and highly therapeutic water. The sodium content is high which is very good for the skin and the spring is highly regarded for warming you up to the core. Sauna and relaxing space are also available.

A certified diabetes educator is on hand to cordially explain the best and most effective use of the baths. The water can also be drunk.
